Thank you, everyone, for your wonderful comments.
If I don’t respond individually to your messages, don’t feel badly. Vic is out adventuring somewhere so we can have more stories to share. Just know that I appreciate each person who takes time to read my articles, and especially those who leave comments. Without you, my readers, I wouldn’t have a reason to write….
But I’d still write, of course. I can’t help myself…..
(Oh yes…. And a special thanks to my daughter, Karissa, who made this website possible. Without her, you wouldn’t be reading anything….and if you don’t believe that—just read the article called: “Those Pesky Keys to Success…” On second thought, DON’T read that article. It’s just Toooo embarrassing. )
You can join me here on the old porch and we can sip a cup o’ country, while watching the sun go down. It’ll be fun…. (Someone asked me the other day: “And what exactly is a Cup o’ Country? That’s some kind of tea, isn’t it…?”) Seriously folks–if you don’t know what a Cup o’ Country is, just stick around.
I’m Country to the core. Kind of like that ol’ song: “I was Country-when-Country-wasn’t-Cooool“.
But I digress.
I’ve done enough prattling about myself. And now I’ve got some rockin’ to do on the porch with my Cup o’ Country… Thanks for stopping by for a visit. Catch you on the flip-side, folks.
Whatever that means.
Sis. Vic,
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your website and talent. You are a beautiful apostolic lady.
I know the Lord is glorified through the wonderful gift He has given you.
It was a compliment for you to say that we have so much in common….and we do have a lot to look forward to in Heaven. Our love ones that have gone on before us are waiting….busy worshipping…but waving us on to come home some day.
God Bless You Sis. Vic and all that you do to Lift up our Lord Jesus,
Carla

(My response to the last 3 emails….)
To Jinny…
I’m originally from the Barada Hills of Nebraska— south of Omaha—but I now live on the West Coast near Eureka, California.
Nadine…
Yes, my stories are all true. I don’t write fiction. (Truth is stranger than fiction, most of the time.)
And the last comment… Billy Joe—so good to hear from you, again. Hope all is well in your corner of Nebraska. Come out and visit us some time.
Thanks so much for writing, all of you.

Yes….they may be “crazy” stories, but Yes—they are all really true. Strange and crazy things happen to most folks–but few of them write about their adventures—but if they did, the stories would turn out even better than mine, I’m sure. It’s just a matter of learning how to pull out a “theme” from your daily adventures and weaving it throughout the story. That is the secret. 🙂
Thank you for your kind and encouraging words. I hope to meet you someday as well. Lord bless!
